  6.       The dialing templates allow you to configure LoopBack to use different
  7.       dialing procedures with different numbers.  This makes LoopBack useful
  8.       in almost EVERY part of the world.  If a new dialing procedure comes out
  9.       in your area, LoopBack will adjust to it.

  11.    Subcommands
  12.  
  13.       @X0BH               Help. @X03 Displays the file you are currently reading.
  14.  
  15.       @X0BQ               Quit.  @X03Quits back to LoopUtil main menu.
  16.  
  17.       @X0B+               Advance one record. @X03 This command will skip to the next
  18.                       record in the dialing templates file.
  19.  
  20.       @X0B-               Retard one record. @X03 This command will go back to the
  21.                       previous record in the dialing templates file.
  22.  
  23.       @X0BJ               Jump to record.@X03  This command will allow you to specify
  24.                       a record number to jump to.
  25.  
  26.       @X0BA               Add a record. @X03 This command will allow you to add a new
  27.                       record (dialing template) to the dialing templates file.
  28.  
  29.       @X0BD               Deleted.  @X03This command will toggle the delete flag on the
  30.                       current record.  (Note: The record will not be removed
  31.                       from the database.  To remove a deleted record, you must
  32.                       pack the database.)

  34.       @X0BN               Name of template.  @X03This command will allow you to specify
  35.                       a new name for the dialing template that you are editing.
  36.                       The dialing template name has a limit of ten characters.

  38.       @X0BL               Logoff user after callback.  @X03This command will allow you
  39.                       to specify whether or not LoopBack should log the user off
  40.                       of the BBS after a successful verification with the
  41.                       dialing template that you are editing.

  43.      @X0B S               Security level to upgrade to.  @X03This command will allow
  44.                       you to specify what value LoopBack should put in place of
  45.                       the user's security level after a successful callback.
  46.                       (A setting of 0 will tell LoopBack to leave the user's
  47.                       security level alone.)

  49.      @X0B E               Expired security level to upgrade to.  @X03This command will
  50.                       allow you to specify what value LoopBack should put in
  51.                       place of the user's expired security level.  (A setting
  52.                       of 0 will tell LoopBack to leave the user's expired
  53.                       security level alone.)

  55.      @X0B #               # of days till expiration.  @X03This command will allow you
  56.                       to specify the number of days that LoopBack should add to
  57.                       the verification date for the expiration date. (ie., If
  58.                       you place a value of 365 here, and the verification date
  59.                       is 06-01-94, then the user's new expiration date will be
  60.                       06-01-95.)  A setting of 0 will tell LoopBack to leave the
  61.                       user's expiration date alone.

  63.      @X0B T               Template to use when dialing.  @X03This command will tell
  64.                       LoopBack how it should dial a number that has this dialing
  65.                       template specified.  LoopUtil will ask you if you want to
  66.                       (D)esign your own template or use a (R)eady-made
  67.                       template.  When using a ready-made template, you simply
  68.                       select from a list of 3 choices. ((L)ocal, Long
  69.                       (D)istance, or (T)oll)  After you select your ready-made
  70.                       template, the appropriate template values are selected
  71.                       for you.  But, if you decide that you want to design your
  72.                       own templates, then here is a list of the possible
  73.                       numbers that can be included in the dialing template:

  75.                  @X0C0 -  @X0E    NONE @X0C- @X0FThis will tell LoopBack that it should not dial
  76.                                  anything for this field and go on to the next
  77.                                  field
  78.  
  79.                  @X0C1 - @X0ENUMPREFIX @X0C- @X0FThis will tell LoopBack that it should dial the
  80.                                  number prefix as specified in LoopUtil Config
  81.                                  settings. (Note: This is NOTE the prefix, this
  82.                                  is the NUMPREFIX setting as specified in the
  83.                                  configuration settings...)

  85.                  @X0C2 -  @X0ELDACCESS @X0C- @X0FThis will tell LoopBack that it should dial the
  86.                                  long access # as setup in LoopUtil config
  87.                                  settings.

  90.                                  areacode/country code of the number that the
  91.                                  user entered for callback.

  94.                                  prefix/city code of the number that the user
  95.                                  entered for callback.

  98.                                  number (not the areacode or prefix, but the
  99.                                  remaining digits of the number after the area
  100.                                  code and prefix are removed).

  102.                  @X0C6 - @X0ENUMSUFFIX @X0C- @X0FThis will tell LoopBack that it should dial the
  103.                                  NUMSUFFIX (as defined in LoopUtil config
  104.                                  settings.)

  106.                       @X03Say you entered @X0C4 (PREFIX) @X03for field #1, @X0C5 (NUMBER) @X03for
  107.                       field #2, and @X0C0 (NONE) @X03for fields 3-6.  That means that
  108.                       when LoopBack goes to dial the number the user entered, it
  109.                       will dial the prefix and number.  This could be
  110.                       considered your LOCAL dialing template.  ie.,

  112.                            @X0E812-423-3394 = @X0FNumber user entered.

  114.                                 @X0E4233394 = @X0FNumber that LoopBack will dial.

  121.                       could be considered your LONGDIST template.  ie.,
